Neigborhood collection on November 28, 2009. 1,551 pounds of items were collected, sorted and boxed into 58 boxes containing 6,364 items! More donations for the OIF and OEF Hungry Heroes Program were received as well.

Stage Three Of The Eagle Project

Thanks to King Kullen, a collection on November 14 was done in front of their Bellmore, NY store. Despite periods of heavy rain and drizzy, with the help of friends, neighbors, family, fellow scouts, scout masters and the support of the shoppers, it was a big success with close to 400 pounds of support items collected as well as gift cards and monetary donations. Stage Two Of The Eagle Project

Distribution of flyers to the neigborhood on November 1, 2009. With the help of friends, neigbors, fellow Scouts and family, over 1500 flyers were distributed to the surrounding areas of North Bellmore, East Meadow and North Merrick.

Stage One Of The Eagle Project

Flyers were distributed to fellow Scouts during a Boy Scout meeting so they can give them to their neighbors, families and friends.They will set their own collection date. All items collected will be added to the neighborhood collection scheduled on November 28, 2009. The planned car wash was cancelled due to conflicts in schedule.

Evan's Eagle Project

My Eagle Scout Project has been approved and is now underway. We will be helping disabled and needy veterans who served our country. We will be collecting needed items and also collect monetary donations. The donations will be converted to grocery gift cards for the OIF/OEF Hungry Heroes program. Looking forward for your supports.
